We are Lodge 745, the Sacramento area chapter of the Slovene National Benefit Society or SNPJ. We gather together quarterly to organize events and activities to keep our Slovene heritage alive. Established in 1934 in Grass Valley, California our lodge has recently re-activated and has begun meeting regularly again! Please browse the site to view our history as a lodge, what we're all about, and upcoming and past events. We welcome and encourage any new members to join and attend our events and meetings. You don't have to be Slovenian to be a part of the Golden Valley Lodge--just have a desire to make new friends and learn about Slovenian culture!
